Held every summer and featuring a variety of activities, the Festival of Flight commemorates the history of flight and aviation in Gander. Activities include a parade, the Commander Gander Road Race, airplane demonstration, craft fair, three-on-three basketball tournament and fireworks. Food options include an International food festival, traditional Newfoundland breakfast, Irish pub night and kitchen party.
